Cottage that feels like home
We converted Cobblestone Cottage from a disused cowshed in 2003. We had always taken self catered holidays ourselves and knew that we wanted to create a peaceful, well equipped cottage that would instantly feel like home.
The cottage is decorated in a neutral style with comfy sofas, log burner, Smart TV with Freesat and free WiFi.
A well equipped kitchen
The cottage is centrally heated throughout. We pride ourselves on sparkling cleanliness. On arrival you can expect a Cornish Cream Tea and other welcome goodies.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, fridge and separate freezer. We supply washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and clothes washing liquid as well as tea towels.
Accommodating 4 people
We can accommodate 4 people plus a baby in a cot. We provide a high chair, travel cot and children’s crockery and cutlery as well as night lights for younger guests.
En-suite master bedroom
There are 2 bedrooms. The large master bedroom has a king sized bed with crisp white bedding, plenty of drawer and wardrobe space and en-suite wet room. Towels are provided.
The family bathroom has a bath with shower attachment and is next to the second bedroom. The second bedroom has 2 full sized single beds and also has plenty of drawer and wardrobe space.
Garden with a sea view
The property is ground floor only but there is a single step in 3 places. Please contact us if you would like to discuss accessibility.
The south facing garden is fully enclosed and has fruit trees and a sea view and is completely private. There is garden furniture, a rotary washing line and a barbecue is supplied.
The garden is often visited by rabbits and foxes.
Located near Penzance
The cottage is close enough to Penzance to make it easily accessible but far enough into the countryside to feel in the middle of nowhere.
It is a 2 mile walk to Penzance and there is no bus service and so a car is essential for this property. There is off street parking for up to 2 cars.
