COVID-19 Additional Information
We are delighted to welcome you to/back to Cornwall.
If you have been to Cornwall before you may notice that things are a little different – just as they are all over the world.
Attractions are open but most are ticketed (and selling out quickly) and we would really encourage you to book as soon as possible and preferably before you come on holiday. Please look at https://www.visitcornwall.com for an up to date list.
Your health and safety is our main concern and so we are undertaking extra cleaning and disinfecting processes. As a result, cleaning is going to take a lot longer and so we are going to have to ask you to check in later (1600h) and check out earlier (0900h) to enable this. We will also be contacting you a few days ahead of your arrival just to check you are all fit and healthy.
Following a rigorous risk assessment, to remove sources of increased risk of infection from COVID-19, some items have been removed from the cottage. This includes books, DVDs and games. We have, however, an improved TV package which now includes a smart TV and Netflix.
A welcome pack of pre packaged items will be provided. Tea, coffee, sugar, salt and pepper will also be provided in single sachets.
Extra cleaning equipment will be available for your use.
If you become unwell with symptoms of COVID-19 during your stay, Cornwall Council advises that you return home. If you need to remain in the cottage for any time in excess of your holiday dates then, unfortunately, you would be liable for any extra cost incurred as we would need to cancel incoming bookings.
Strange old times but you will have an amazing holiday – goodness knows we all deserve one!
